Which Ducktails are good and bad?

Buying an aftermarket Ducktail soon. Which ones are well or poorly made? MA SHaw, OG Racing, Tweeks?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I will be selling my ducktail soon. I just never ended up having it repainted and mounted. I have no clue who the manufacturer is either.

I bought mine from AIR, the fit is perfect, which is really rare for fiberglass, same with my front and rear bumpers. Since you're in SoCal, give him a call at 626-969-7733 and go pick it up in person and save yourself the shipping charges. You can also go to the Porsche, muscle car, VW & antique car swapmeet held in Pamona every six weeks. The only prob with those ones at the swap is if you have a problem with the fit, you dont' usually have a warranty. Dan at AIR totally helped me out and I've been very happy with my stuff that I've gotten from him.

I have an MA SHAW on my car and the workmanship is good. The only complaint is that the gaps down the sides are a little too big. Otherwise, it is good.

well... I got mine from them and it was awefully made. chopper gun style. dont get me wrong, you can get decent stuff from ...(ahem, cough) Per. Products, but their choice in fiberglass goods are, im sure less that the best. Go with Getty or MA Shaw for a good hand laid one.

The carbon fenders I purchased were beautiful.

Almost too nice to paint.

They would be fine unpainted, but would not go wiht the look of the car.

Do a search for GrantG in rennlist.

I believe his carbon pieces are from MAShaw. My bumpers and ducktail were from them also.

I have GT Racing and am not happy with all the work I had to do to get it to fit and it still doesn't look all that good to me. I would not by a GT ducktail from them.

www.americaninternationalracing.com and www.gtracing.com those are the sites that I have for them. Also a little sidenote, someone here on this board made many of the molds for AIR when he used to work there. Can anyone guess????
**certain people are excluded from that question since they are around him a lot and most likely know already.
