Can I lower my power seat more the contols allow?
Can I take out the seat power motor, swap hardware, or whatever to lower my drivers seat. My head touches the headliner. Thanks.

I don't think the removal of the motor would help I think you will have to look at the rail system that it rides upon.
Or perhaps an after market seat would sit lower.

I find this simply amazing. What was Porsche thinking ??? I am 5'-8" and am awfully close to scratching my head on the roof...ask me how I feel when wearing a helmet. This is with the power seat all the way down.
However, for the ( apparently) MANY, MANY 4'-8" to 4'-11" guys...the seat conveniently allows at least another 4" raising capability !!!!! Argghh! ....and my 85 Carrera has floor seat rails that are 20 mm higher than either the 84 or 86....lucky me. ---Wil

That is true the seat rails on my 88 are lower than the 84s yet with a helmet I feel a little crowded.
Could rail switching work? I imagine so.
