100% Gratuitous BB2 Pictures

Okay, I can't make any excuses. I was driving through Malibu today, and there were some hazy clouds -- which are good for photographing black paint...

And I realized I had the camera in the car...

No technical content, other than that, uh, the car has been driving fine lately, and I haven't had time to swap back the brake pads, so the Porterfields squeak.

Anyone have any good tricks for making race brakes stop squeaking?

Okay, that was a lame attempt at technical content.

Here are 15 pictures of my 911.

Head on:

Ahh, it's been too long, my friend. We need these on a weekly basis.

Do you really drive that close to the wheel? How do you get your legs in there?

No A/C, no Sun Roof, no power windows. Fast and light, just the way I like it. (Sad to say, it's sold. But at least it remains with us on this board.)

Thanks for the compliments. I promise to get over how much I like the car, one day.

Those are the AJ-USA aluminum ones. But if I had to do it again, I'd probably get the Rennline set, from Pelican.

It's a concave clip-on mirror, from I/O Port Racing. One of the smartest $15 expenditures on the car. It eliminates the passenger-side blind spot completely. Mine is the small (11-inch) one. I think I may get a larger (17-inch) one and clip it on for race days. It would eliminate both blind spots.

EDIT: Corrected vendor name.

Very very nice pictures. It must be better to have the real thing. Can you post a close up of these?? I am a bit curious as to what they are.
