Porsche 911 druck press gauge

I recently purchased a 1980 Porsche 911sc and I have been trying to figure out what the druck press gauge is for. I've tried a few online translation site and the translations I got are print and pressure. Is ther anyone who knows what this gauge is for?

Druck is German for press(ure). This is the oil pressure gauge. Arguably the most important gauge of the lot.

Its the pressure pressure gauge

Druck = pressure in German.

It's your oil pressure in either bar (scale from 0-6) or if an early gauge its in PSI from 0-140.

Just to add, when the revs are low it is normal for the druck to be on the lower side, maybe around 2-3. So no need to be alarmed.

When the car is revving high (5,000+), the druck should be on the high end, like 5.

On my car, when the engine is cold the pressure tends to be a bit higher.

There is also the oil level gauge. This will tend to read low when the engine is revving, and to slowly move higher when the engine has been idling for some time (minutes, not seconds). Just mentioned so you are not alarmed if the oil level reads low while you are driving - don't go dumping more and more oil in the tank, you'll overfill it which is not good.

The oil level gauge isn't a good measure anyway, need to check the oil with the dipstick on flat ground when the engine has been running for a while.

One of the coolest things you can have,and it came with your car,is the glove box manual(s).People tend to ignore these things but for me it`s the first thing l read when l get a new (to me)car.Porsche`s are very unique cars and for that reason the manual is invaluable.The HVAC controls may be a puzzle also without the manual..

My car did not come with any kind of owners manual so that was not an option for me.
