Pics of new interior and RS seats
Not 100 % complete. Passenger side will go in tomorrow. Rear mat out and interior still needs to be detailed.

Very nice. I like the color-coding. What seats are those?

Probably. I did sit in them briefly today and they are pretty comfy. They felt like they were adjuster perfectly to match what I usually drive at. They are hard to get in and out of and mold to your body like glove which feels a little strange at first. I am sure I will get used to them.

I think the seats look great in the car.
However, I think it would look even better if you did all the three inserts in the same black as the rest of the seat. With so many red accents, the insert cushions make things too 'busy' looking. Of course, that's just an opinion. I think you'll find the seats very comfortable, as you get used to them.

I am leaning in that direction. I really am looking for constructive criticism here, because nothing is set in stone. Would you do all blakc inserts with no red whatsoever on the fron side? ANyone good at Photoshop. The only argument for leaving them this way is this is the exact color combination Porsche released the seats in for the 1992 Turbo S. Right now, they look bone stock.
Jack, does yours have the metal clips showing at the side by the bottom cushion or am I missing a cushion like the lumbar cushion to raise the bottom inserts so that those metal clips are not visible.

My interior is pure straight-guy interior design. All black.
![]() It looks like my leather extends down lower on the bolsters than the real thing did. Mine are made by FVD, from Recaro SPG Pole Positions, so they're not identical in every way to the factory ones. I think Eric Mckenna has the factory seats, though. Maybe he can tell you if something is wrong on yours. In my case, there are four simple cushions, two on the bottom and two on the back -- with nothing to change the height of the sitting position.

Oh, for full disclosure: that's my old car in the picture. The current interior can be seen here, but it doesn't show the side bolster as clearly.

Black with red stiching would be sweet. I did speak to the about redoing the entire covers. I would cost about $ 1,000, but this would give me red stiching. The money adds up quick.

Here is the ebay ad. This shows the metal clips also along the top edge of the bottom cushion. These do not get in the way or come into contact with you they way they are positioned. I just thinbk they could look a little bit cleaner. I bet there is a lower bolster out there to raise the bottom seat cushion.

My goal was to obtain the Speedsteer look with the red guage surround and the red seat back on the RS seats.

Here is a link to the 1992/3 Turbo S which was the most expensive car built between the 959 and until the new Carera GT.
http://www.flat-6.net/viewer.php?id=124&model=964&sub=964+Turbo+3.6+Leichtbau&sel=964+Turbo+3.6+Leichtbau+Photo I have seen a couple of the Turbo Ss in magazines (One yellow with yellow center and one black with red center) and they all have two tone light and dark grey and the center insert in key coded to the body color.
