size of clutch clevis lock nut
I need to adjust the length of my clutch cable at the clevis and was hoping to back off the lock nut and rotate the cable at the transmission hopefully avoiding having to remove the clevis from the clutch arm. I can't seem to get a wrench on the nut...is it a 10mm and will this approach work or do I need to remove the cable?
If I do need to remove it, I cant imagine doing it. I just spent 3 hours tonight trying to remove the clevis but I can't see past the tunnel. Tricks or tips? Thanks, Graham

Hi ,
I think you will have a hell of a time trying to rotate whole cable lenght to screwing it in. You really need to just take out clevis pin and loosen nut and screw in to shorten cable. The best tips I can give is , remove front carpet pieces to get them out of the way , remove front driver seat ..if you need to get some space for your body to get in there , remove petal wood floor boards peel back carpeting over center tunnel , then just pop off clevis pin , remove clevis , adjust lenght then reassemble. It might help having a nail to align clevis back on clutch petal arm. Hope that helps ..you might have to mess with it awhile, but it will work Joe |

Graham,
I believe it is a M7 x 1.00 nut that takes an 11 mm wrench.
