72 targa that does not run......worth the drive?
so I am going to look at a 72 targa that does not run (THERE ARE NO GAS BURNERS ON IT) that should make it safe
![]() the specs are: has not run in at least a year "some parts were taken off but they put them in side the car" no history overall okay shape don't know the rust status yet someone else "not local" has the title. from what I can gather not an unscale area of town 5 hour drive away any thoughts? besides run away! |

Enjoy a road trip.
If the car turns out okay, that's a bonus. |

T, E or S ?
Latter two definitely worth a trip. First may also be worth it, if you like these old cars, it'll be worth it. |

Depends on the dollars.
Recently I bought a non-running '69 911T for $1800. I cleaned it up minimally and sold it a few weeks later for $3000. My buyer got it running, bled the brakes and sold it on ebay for $6800!
