I guess I should have pointed out that it is the round chrome mesh cap to the left of the engine, but thanks for identifying the engine

I've never seen anything like it. Maybe it's the photonic input for the flux capacitor.

What a bunch of comedians. Too funny! Anyway, how 'bout some close ups of the device in question. Any wires connected to it? Just a WAG, but as someone suggested, it may be an alarm horn.

We will look at it at it closer with some of te info I did get I suspect it is probably some aftermarket alarm system. Maybe he just needs to treak into his own car?
