Easy hood alignment
So I'm thumbing thru the Bentley book last night and stumble upon the front hood adjustment page (550-2). The front left of my hood had been slightly higher then the left. About 2 minutes after reading that page, the hood was nicely aligned. Just a couple twists of the rubber stops (duh)...no tools...all done.
Sometimes life is so busy that I miss the easy details like this one.

Gon fix it with me hammer
|
i got a different issue with mine
the allignement is correct, but the new rubber seal seams to be to thick so it pushes the hood upwards is that normal ? should i cut up the rubber ? it is nicely settled in the chassis, can't push it any deeper the lower side fits perfect, it's just the upper side of the fold that seems to rigid

I don't see how cutting the rubber could hurt.
