Need help with a PPI near Portland, Maine

I'm looking at possibly buying a track car out near Portland, ME, and was wondering if anyone had any contacts to help me out with a PPI? I'm out here in California, so a quick trip to check it out myself is out of the question.

TIA,
chris

If he won't do it, he can point you in the right direction.

I'm looking for a 65-73 911 to track with VARA and possibly with SCCA. I found a 73 that's been track modified and rebuilt in 2000 to look like an RS. Since it's so far, I'd feel better having someone take a peek than buy it and cross my fingers until it gets here. I haven't been too lucky finding what I'm looking for on the west coast. If you have any leads, please let me know!

Chris;
A friend of mine uses Town Line to do work on his M3 that he tracks at Lauden and Lime Rock and Watkins Glen. It's a sweet car (even if it's not a Porsche).
The shop has been there over 20 years and he swears by them.
The guy that runs it is Voit Rich.
By the way , in case your wondering I have no connection to the place and I have not had any work done there. But I will probably use them if I need some help on my car.

Good Luck
Let us know how things work out.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try and give the shops a call tomorrow, but I doubt they'll be open.

I used Foreign Intrigue in Berwick for a PPI. I was very happy with their work. Berwick is 45 minutes from Portland.

Soon as I get it in my greedy little hands, I'll take some pics and post them. In the meantime, how about some pics of yours? I'm stuck out here in California, so I won't be able to see your red one in person. If you are near F.I., the car I'm interested in will be there at 10:00 AM on Thursday.

STUCK (? !!!!) in Cali ? When I visit my brother and his family in Los Altos to escape these horrible New England winters they have to force me onto the plane. I leave kicking and screaming.
Paradise I say - expensive but paradise : )

Nice looking ride, JCF!! I'd love it if you could go down there and check it out for me, and extra set of eyes and an ubiased opinion are always nice to have.

Thanks for the comment Cliff. Feel free to post a pic for me. I wasn't sure how to post a pic off of a .pdf file. I don't know computers like I know teeth! Just to let you know, the car is supposed to be street legal, all it needs is a set of headlights. You, Chris and I should try and get together sometime.

Chris
