Accelerator Pump rubber diaphragms

Can the two rubber diaphragms in the accelerator pump be reused? I broke a stud while tightening down and will need to remove the assembly, install the stud, and reassemble. Also should I use red or blue Loctite on the stud.

They can be reused, but how old are these diaphragms?

if they are old they can dry out , become brittle and tear, Since you are going to have to take the accel pumps apart, why not just replace them with new diaphragms?
