wheel stud help

Well I broke off a lug nut last weekend and slightly damaged the wheel stud. I was told the threads should be 14 x 1.5mm. I wanted to just get a die and fix the stud, but I can't find that die size anywhere. Anybody know where I can get one? If I can't find one I guess I need to replace the stud. Does anyone know the proper length for a front of a 85' with fuchs wheel? Do most auto stores carry the size?

www.mcmaster.com has the die.

You can order the proper stud from Pelican, your local parts store will not have the correct one.

Front or rear? You can replace a stud in the front hub in minutes after you get the hub off. Not so easy on the rear.

Where are you? Someone here should be able to give you a stud; there are so many laying around from people installing longer ones.

I'm in Long Beach and I've got 10 of them (fronts) in a box, for what? I don't know. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the stock studs are different lengths front vs. rear.

Thanks for the offer. I'm in Wisconsin though. I did order through Mcmaster so hopefully it won't take very long to get here. thanks to James for that tip. I was searching locally and all over net and couldn't find any place that stocked one.

Zeke, it is the front one. Have 6" wide fuch wheel on there.
