Exhaust stud broke / missing ? HELP

I have been living off of a constant diet of searching past posts with my new endeavor- removing the exhaust. While soaking the nuts for future removal, I went to hit #5's studs and one wasn't even there! It looks like it is not busted off, but vanised! Also , there are no barrel nuts. THe PO's mechanic or the po himself must have replaced them with 11,12, and 13mm nuts? What a slob.

I have been able to easily remove all the other studs with no heating, just liquid wrench sitting for 2 days.
I have bought new barrel nuts, gaskets from PP.

But my question is, where to get NEW studs? Didn't see them on PP. Are they hidden?

I plan on light sand blasting and maybe painting my exchangers to reduce further corrosion. No $$ for SSI.

Oh yeah, I bet this is the pfft pfft pfft when cold and clack clack clack when hot, since the area around the missing stud is black with soot.

$2.13 for each stud and $.25 for the nutz....Good idea to call dealer!

Do you think a serious exhaust leak could make a clacking sound like others have speculated?

Yes the clack or pfft sound can come from a loose exhaust connection to a cylinder. I had this happen after my rebuild when one didn't seal well. I pulled the exchanger and ground the surfaces flat then reinstalled with new gaskets and it was fine after that.
