What are these rims? Obviously, twists but don't look like any factory twists I've seen. Who makes them, availability?

Sam,
Again, thanks for the car compliment. The look I wanted was Aggressive. I believe I was successful. Gonna hate to see her go...but need to buy a house. I think your selection of wheel will depend on the look you are comfortable with. Well, you have a red wide body to start. Tell us more. Attach a pic. You have many options. Paul

Thanks Sam. I've been very happy with these wheels so far. They are a good, affordable forged wheel, that can be made in any size, offset you need.

Been trying to decide the same thing. Blue Widebody 78 911 SC. Choice is either a pair of Speedline three-piece 18 x 8.5 & 10 or Antera 151's same size. The rear Speedlines are leaking air through the bolts, so while I'm having them fixed, I threw the Anteras on the back (fronts rub because the offset is a little off) and I actually like the way they look. Not a purist car at all, but let me know which direction you guys think I should go. I'll sell the set I don't keep.
More pics here: http://gallery.mac.com/faraji#100010 Rod, how deep is the lip on those things? I would swear you were running 10's and 12's from a quick glance ![]() ![]() ![]()

The wheels are Artec PA, these are German made by the same manufacturer as RH Wheels. http://www.artec-gmbh.de/ (click on "Tech Informationen" then on "Gutachten") ![]() They're beautiful and easy to clean but a bit heavy, Ok for the street but for the track I take my D90's

faraji, they are actually 8's & 10's, with 245's and 315's, only the design of the wheel allows for a really deep dish. Nice strosek by the way, you dont see to many in coupe versions. Looks good.

Hey Bryan,
I actually like the look of 8 & 9.5 Lindseys better. I wonder how many aware your car is turbo carged as is mine. I have a great appreciation for you car set up. Do you get a lot of resonance from you muffler? Paul

Thanks Paul.
As you know the car is a 3 liter twin plug turbo with a large intercooler under the ducktail. I went with a very free flowing stainless Magnaflow muffler. The left hand pipe is just a dump pipe for the waste gate; I wanted the car to be a sleeper and appear to be a naturally aspirated car with traditional RS/RSR style dual exhaust. The muffler has a really nice rumble at idle and just a slight bit of resonance as revs build, it sounds quite aggressive but not too loud IMO. I've really enjoyed getting my car to this point, but am going to be putting the car for sale very soon. The car is very complete as far as engine, body, susp./brakes, wheels etc. Zach Mayne from Excellence has contacted me and it appears we will be doing a photo shoot soon for a story. I'm ready for my next Porsche and think my next one will be more of a dedicated track/time trial car. I don't have it in me to beat on this one at the track. Paul, I am curious about the coffee and cars gathering in Irvine, is this a weekly gathering? It is a 2 hour drive from my house and I am considering attending some time soon. Bryan
