Thanks Jeff (look 171). It was great to meet you on the Solvang Stomp. I had a blast. You know, we never got to give each other rides before the trip was over. I love your Ruf wheels. Here are a couple of pictures I took of your car while we rested in Ojai:

PM me and maybe we can get together sometime.

I like the dark paddles with polished caps.

Looks like a single lug nut from a distance.

How hard was it to get the 275s to fit?

Yargk,

275's fit 930 fronts with rolled fenders and the perfect offset. My outside rim half is 3" inside is 6.5". Not sure what my offset is...

I just wanted to add that my fender lips needed to be rolled and the oil cooler and windshield washer reservoir needed some tweaking forward. IIRC the backspacing on my wheels is 6" and I'm running a little more than -3° camber up front.

My 245s get real close to the carrera cooler that was added by the PO. I suppose that I can mount it differently to give the tire more room. Thanks for the info. Edit: what do you think about 285s since Pilot Cups come in 265s and 285s?

Hey Brian, Love to get together sometime. I like to check tha tfire breather of yours Man, it sounded really mean when you rocketed away from me that day. I posted a pic on our drive with a Lambo in the back. I was wondering who's nice looking 930 is that in the back dressed in silver.

Yargk,

I just clear my oil cooler and my water bottle is long gone. I was running 255/40's up front on 9's but the car had HUGE understeer. I sent my 9" fronts back to Fikse where they split my rims, replaced my 6" inner with a 6.5", replaced all the bolts then resealed them. I did this so I could run 275's. The car is MUCH more balanced now with better braking. I get a little rubbing on occasion, especially at full lock but the trade off was worth it.

Sorry, I have no MPSC experience and thought the biggest 17" was 255/40?

Jeff (look 171) - That's a great photo. I couldn't resist making it better!

Let me see your wheels

Hello All,

I have a Guards Red turbo look coupe and am looking to put on another set of rims. If anyone has put on aftermarket wheels I'd love to see a picture(I know you guys are shy about showing your cars).

Thanks
