I'm not an expert, but the fork is probably not engaging. When you mate the tranny to the motor it's critical that it falls in place. Not sure if there is an easy fix without removing tranny again.

does the pedal move and pull but the clutch will not release or does the pedal just not move at all?

he didn't get the fork engaged with the throwout bearing is my guess. then the fork just backs up into the bellhousing and the pedal can't move.

I am guessing that you should check in this order.

1. Disconnect the cable at the tranny to see if the cable moves. I bet it will.
2. Then you inspect the omega spring to see if it is in the right place. If it is,
3. Drop your engine and remove transmission. You will find that:
a. Fork is bent, not engaged,
b. Center shaft is bent, or not greased
d. you have installed the clutch wrong.

good luck
