Replacing Wheel studs
What's the correct procedure here? Can you just beat them out. Would use a press if I had one. Any other solutions? Does it help to apply heat?

On the rears you can remove them on the car by beating one out at a time and remove them thru the access that is gven by removal of the e brake connections.
Fronts need hub removal. A press or a BFH will work once they are on the bench.

I just did this job on the front of my '77.
Once I had removed the caliper and taken the hub off, I seperated the halves, and simply tapped the studs a few times (with a BFH) and they came out relatively easy.
