Boxster brake performance on early 911
Anyone have experience w/ boxster brakes on a 911. How is the performance?

Garner:
For street use only, its a nice upgrade. For any track use, its a failure. There are FAR better solutions depending on your wheel diameters.

If you are going to do track events you need BRAKES and the only effective brakes for 15" wheels are a 930 Turbo brake conversion.
They REALLY work well,... ![]()

Which 930?
The early turbos used S-calipers right? Didn't the 78/79 turbos use a version of 917 brakes?

Why do you say the boxster brakes are no good for track use? Cross drilled and vented rotors, stiffer, lighter calipers. I would think thats a darn good start. 930 brakes are not that cheap.
