What cooler will fit the RUF style valance?
I decided to bite the bullet and I ordered the BW Motorsports RUF style valance today and will add a cooler. I want to retain my fog lights and there is some question if I will have clearance problems with the right fog light using the Setrab 72 row cooler (22.5 inches long). I'm hoping some of you that have done this conversion can help me. Do you have to install a 90 deg fitting to clear the light? Will this cooler fit without a problem?
Comments appreciated as I would like to order the fittings and hose.

I have the IROC bumper and a big B&B cooler. The cooler doesn't actually fit inside the bumper opening. The thickness of the cooler will be more critical that the width. Before you buy fittings, do a test mount of the bumper and see how much room you'll have. After you fab brackets and mount the cooler, re-fit the bumper to determine the angle of the fittings you'll need. It can be tight.

This is a 5 1/2 X 2 1/4 X 20 B&B. The B&B comes w/ the correct lines, no 90° fittings are used. The cooler can be ordered w/ straight or 15° outlets.

Thanks for the reply guys. Bill, I can see the oil line through the hole in the opening for the fog light. Is there enough room to push the line out of the way and fit the light? Is the cooler straight or 15 deg?
The cooler I am considering is a Setrab 6 1/2 x 22 1/2 x 2 and the valance I am buying is identical to yours except not the bumper portion so the hole dimensions are identical. From your memory of the install, do you think this will fit OK? I can get the Setrab locally from Elephant with metric fittings.

These coolers are fantastic. My 3.8RS runs ~80 - 85° C at all times

I have a setup similar to Bill's but I only used BWQ's valance (not he complete butper). I used a 19"Earls but I had to make a cutout of 1.5" approx on the bumper to make space.
I run it parallel with a Turbatrol (I already had installed it.....) in the fender and have never had any temps problems. Not even on hot days in Florida at the track. I have the foglights and used some 45 degree an fittings to install it all. Hope that helps, Juan

Good info guys. From the sounds of it, the cooler size is about right and I should expect a possible 90 or 45 on at least one of the fittings. From all accounts I have read, there will never be a heat issue with this setup on my 3.2. I'm only worried about a speed bump or curb but "you gotta take the fat with the ham" I suppose.
Thanks for the help!
