Is your car burgundy?

At http://www.paintscratch.com/, they show a 1970 color (#2424) as Burgundy.

This site also has a 2424 code for burgundy http://www.elferhelfer.com/farben.htm

The G means it was sprayed with Glasuit paint.

The 24-24 which is burgandy paint which was available in 1970 for US market only. Unless you wanted to pay extra for your own personal colour.
