Need PPI in N/E NJ - NYC area

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone to do a PPI on an early 911 at the seller's residence in the NJ/NY metro area?

Thanks in advance.

RPM Racing in Huntington NY. That's on Long Island. Bout 1/2 hour outside of the city.

http://rpmracinginc.com/

If it's to far from the car then they can certainly recommend someone qualified.

One of the owners/head wrench, Taso, is a Tech Advisor for the local PCA.

Ask for Russ.

Regards,
Scott

Dave, you are looking for a house call, or a shop?

If the owner won't take it to a competent shop for the PPI, that's the FIRST indication you should walk.

The list of service shops has been posted here before, where EXACTLY is this car, NJ, Westchester, NYC, LI? WHAT exactly is this car, an early car with MFI or a 996? The answers to both questions dictate the advice I would give.

Scott, thanks for the lead.
John, I'd normally do this myself, but there's a short purchase window, and my schedule prevents me from going, and the seller's schedule doesn't allow him to take it in. The car's a 72T with MFI in Westchester. From what I've seen and heard it seems right, I just need verification, and at this point a house call is what would work.

hmmm,

Westchester? OK if it's anywhere near Pound Ridge call my buddy Tim.

He owns a shop in Pound Ridge. It's a general shop but considering the amount of wealth in that area he has worked on enough pcars and exotics.

He may know someone in the area who would be qualified to do the PPI.

Tell him Scott sent you.

954-764-4478, ask for Tim.

Good Luck,
Scott

Take it to Cheech Fernandez at Rennwerke, he's in Elmsford.

Thanks for the help, guys. I'm hooked up with Cheech from Rennwerke for the PPI. I got a good confidence level during our conversation, so the first hurdle's been cleared. Now for the results...
