AMS 3.2 Turbo

Hey Guys,

I know i posted Pics before but, My tuner got me some cool graphics. Also went to the track, results 12.4 at 115mph
Terible launch, couldnt launch it at anything over 3 grand cause the clutch sliped very badley. I got my shifts down pretty good, but im sure i can get the car in the very low twelves, and with a new clutch disk high 11s. AMS (Auto Moto Sports) did all the fabrication and the dyno tuning, Agian couldnt have done it without Juan "The Godfather" Ruiz and Todd at Protomotive. You guys are awsome. Thanks to the Utmost. AMS also has some Bad A$$ evos too. Il post a pic of one. Next time i go to the track ill post the results
Anyway here are the pics.

Beautiful car. Envy building here!

Can you give more specs and details? And HP/ TQ numbers?

Does the turbo heat cause any problems with the rear f'glass bumper? Are you tempted to cut vent slots in the rear bumper as with the RUFs?

YermanCars 07-27-2004 07:03 AM

No actually i dont have any problems with heat because I put a heat shield on the rear of the bumper

RickM 07-27-2004 07:11 AM

RickM 07-27-2004 10:41 AM

Which model Bursh are you using? It looks to be a single out configuration.

YermanCars 07-27-2004 05:10 PM

Actually since those pictures, ive totaly eliminated the exhaust, and it wasnt a bursch mufler it was acutally just a borla xr-1 mufler, I also finished up the tips, ill post pics as soon as i take them with the new exhaust set up

WydRyd 07-27-2004 07:05 PM

Nice!

How much boost are you pushing in that beast?

ZAMIRZ 07-27-2004 07:08 PM

YermanCars, very impressive and I bet it's fast too. That Evos not too shabby either. Please post more pics and video too if you can.

Looking Good!

She be much better once we Twin turbo her but is a secret Tony dosen't know it yet:D

WydRyd 07-27-2004 07:36 PM

Juan, are you now in Twin Turbo territory, like Mike, or what?

Your car is MEGA-SICK DUDE!!!

juan ruiz 07-27-2004 07:40 PM

Not to hack the thread but only to answer your qs.

No need for that yet, as we are making far more power than a lot of tts outthere, keep it single , keep it simple:) from here have I had the $ I build a 944 with 1500hp narrow rear end and the works, we got the plan ready but we are 100k short:(

WydRyd 07-27-2004 07:46 PM

Cool!

At what RPM are you making FULL boost in that monster?

My Stage 3 is just about complete! I can't wait to feel the G's again! I've forgotten just how good it feels to be "on boost" :(

I've twin plugged the heads too, but won't be running a twin dizzy for a short while. Well, not until I get the pressure sensing upgrade done :D

juan ruiz 07-27-2004 07:51 PM

we are runing and shifting at 7200rpm @28 psi of boost;)

klaucke 07-27-2004 07:56 PM

This thread once more affirms the fact that I must own a 930 at some point.

Az911 07-27-2004 07:58 PM

What did the car put down hp/tq #s?

juan ruiz 07-27-2004 08:01 PM

Tony's car has to be in the 320-360rwhp range Once more without any internal modifications.;)

Oh I forgot I brought youa little surprise:D Since is your thread I know you will like it...........I hope;)
