Targa visor clips?

I own an 84' targa and my driver side visor droops a lot. I looked at the price for new clips and I just about fell out of my chair. they're like $50 each. Does anyone know how to make a homemade set of these or something better than the originals. At the moment, i use a wad of paper and stick it between the visor and the top of the windshield to keep it from falling in front of my face.

Ok i took the clips off and found that this plastic section is warped a bit which makes the pin swivel inside the plastic part instead of the swiveling inside the visor. I now know what to do, i need to glue that pin in the plastic part. Does anyone know what would glue metal to plastic well?

Tightening the screws will not work, you need new clips. I believe you can purchase new ones through our host. I was able to find a set of used clips from DC Automotive and they work great.

How much are the used clips? I'm thinking until I get new clips, ill just put some silicone in the plastic part and let it dry with the pin in it.

Silicone might work. I think I paid $10 for 2 clips.
