				My 911 E...dependable, dependable, "work-horse"..Why is your's special?

This "car"....really "Horse"...is turning out to be one of the most dependable, utilized cars, I've ever had. Using it nearly every day now...to work....most errands...and recently over 100 mile drive, and safe fun drives. It's really turned out to be fun to "work" on also. I'd like to know why you consider yours that "special" car(s)? Thanks to the board.

Because it's mine and it's paid for. Because we play together and laugh together when we do well in hillclimbs. We cry together when we don't. Because we cut a dash together in the modish part of Milan even if the beau monde thinks its a silly old bag with an idiotic grin on her face driving a scruffy old sports car. Because she's a long term project that may never be totally finished but is staying with me forever

Glad to here all the good things (& great pics) about your "E's" Mine is a restoration in process, I have only been able put less than a mile on her before she went into the garage in late Nov. '03. In a couple more months, I should have some good things to say! Right now all I can say is "She's Mine"

I've put about 600 miles on the "Old E" this summer. It had been only half-done when I got it. There are still a lot of things to do, but I am getting more comfortable as I work on the various systems, (suspension, electrical, sunroof, etc.) and the more I drive the car, the better I like it. If I don't watch out, I might get a reputation as a bit of a "H*ll-raiser" in the car. And everyone will know its me, 'cause there isn't another one like it around (on the road) for 120 miles. Deny, deny deny. Les

It's better for me than drinking, it's cheaper than therapy and it's the coolest car I've ever seen. Last edited by Mark Wilson; 08-02-2004 at 04:23 PM.. | ||

Dr. Mark, you're a little hood-challenged to be an E. Of course extra credit for the duck.
