way cool camera mount kit

http://graphics.tomshardware.com/index.html

If I already owned a video camera, I'd be ordering one of these already. The tested this thing on the exterior of an M3 at 135mph and a Cessna.

Very nice.

I don't think it will mount in the rear window of my car as I've got defroster wires - they will prevent the suction cups from working.

I went with the one from OG Racing that mounts to your Harness bar. You can adjust it to any angle front or rear, then I use a remote for the camera for zooming & stuff. Have always stayed away from suction cups but maybe now I should reconsider. Exterior though... I would want to first invest in a cheap camera just in case.

Will this be allowed on the track if it is not bolted down?

Track use also typically requires a safety strap besides the main mount.

it would need to be tethered, just like any other camera for in car. i have fashioned a pretty good mount out of a few different systems that works well. my biggest problem is vibration, not from road bumpiness, but the vibration from very high RPM's. I have tried different mounting and its always the rpm vibs that kill me and my shot.
