You tail-less guys are running around nekkid.
My new purchase (arriving in ~ 3 weeks) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1091839511.jpg Since I am picture impaired at this point, imagine this with stock 7&8x15 Black Fuchs. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1091839644.jpg Ian |
Wow...some nice lookin cars!
|
Love your 83 SC Tom!

I know this is a cab. topic, but ZOANAS' car is exactly what i'm talking about. Nice smooth, shapely lines without the big 'ol whale tail- cabs. included. The big tails seem to mask the good looks of the rear "haunches" of the cars.
http://www.pelicanparts.com/pmpre/im...s/DSC00080.JPG What a good looking car! Nice ride height (front could be a teeny bit lower IMO), wheels, color............... i'm stealing this picture. :D |
It's all yours, Kevin. I plan to lower the car all the way around. I've installed new Bilstiens in the rear since this picture, so the butt sits a little too high.
Thanks for the compliment. BTW, here's a more recent pic... http://www.pelicanparts.com/pmpre/im...tblursmall.jpg note the polished caps and Hella 450 driving lights. |
Doesn't the tail help w/downforce on fast corning? Looks or grip, uhmmm?
|
The tail does help with high speed stability and engine cooling.

Along the same lines, a 964 decklid tail will fit -- you can raise and lower it as needed with a power window switch.
