Is this normal?
If my turn signal doesn't return to the off position the corresponding front and rear turn signal lights remain on (not blinking, solid on) after I turn the car off. Sometime this is going to burn me with a dead battery when I least expect it. Any known fixes if it's not normal? Thanks, Gordo

Here's what I've been told, though it might be Porsche urban legend. My understanding is that if you shut the car off with the turn signal in the on position, the lights stay on intentionally. Supposedly this is a safety measure to prevent other cars from hitting your car when it's parked on the side of a German road. As I said, this might be legend.
Anyone else?

Good "German" idea, might stop someone sides wiping your car next time your parked in a dark street. BMW's and VW have this function also.
