Ferrari factory test driver Andrea Bertolini will be driving Michael Schumacher's F2003-GA aiming for a new outright lap record
at Laguna. That's worth the price of admission alone.
Here are some of the drivers attending:
Phil Hill, Dan Gurney, Sir Stirling Moss, Bobby Rahal, Brian Redman, Bob Bondurant, Derek Bell and Vic Elford. Not bad
company. The largest gathering of Ferrari GTO's in one place-20 cars.
Also the 1962 Porsche 804 F1 driven to victory by Dan Gurney in
France will be there.
So, if you can make it, be here. Friday's the best day for crowds, Saturday will be second only to Porsche a few years ago, Sunday will be a prime day with the F1 cars running.
Sorry for the blatant sales pitch, just don't want anybody thinking about coming to miss this one.

Bruce, roughly when and on what day will the record attempt be made? I want to make sure I am there at the correct time.

Also, I sent away for the corral pass, but will probably have to pick it up at the track (waited until last week). Should I simply drive to the Porsche corral and ask at the entrance gate?

There are a couple of times it could happen,
this is directly from the schedule

Friday 3:55pm – 4:20pm Practice – Ferrari F1 Clienti

Saturday 12:30pm – 12:45pm Ferrari Demonstration Laps
(I expect this is the time they will go for the record)

2:25pm - 2:40pm Special Exhibition Laps

Sunday 2:00pm Ferrari F1

Any of these listed times, they are being very careful about their schedule as it takes a long time to get the cars ready for laps.
We have to be on a tighter schedule than normal or they won't go
out on track. Guess they don't want to leave a Ferrari F1 motor
all over our track.

Check with Ginger Mutoza on picking up the corral pass, I wouldn't go into the track without it. Ginger Mutoza
