SC seat restoring ?

SC seat rebuild?
Well I hit the wrong key and posted this before I was ready

Anyway, Has anybody ever replaced the molded foam cushion on their seat, as in the drivers side bottom cushion?
instead of just adding foam.

Not yet - I've got a pair of junk seats I want to experiment on for swapping into the 944, so I see Pelican has new foam but I haven't ordered it yet. I'll definitely need it - the stuff on these seats has disintegrated!

No kidding, Pelican has it, that was my next question.

I was thinking about just redoing my drivers seat bottom as everything else is good.
Useing the same leather as it matches and is good and just replacing the foam to give it back it's shape.
Maybe I'll re-die them too.

What do you think??

Over here! They're in the 944 section, but should definitely work since the seats are interchangeable - I've swapped the seats between my 944 and 911.
