creeky front end suspension

The front end sounds like I have a chimpanzee in my trunk! I shot some wd-40 on the bushings but it still doing it. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

It's very likely to be torsion bar noise. Sometimes the a-arm bushings wear to the point that the torsion bar makes contact.

The correct repair is to replace bushings. Another common approach is to shim the bar mount so it pulls the bar up a bit and stops the rubbing.

Either way, it's a good idea to check the bar and get rid of any rust that grew if the paint was rubbed off.

I had the same problem right after I finished rebuilding my entire suspension. Turns out it was the latch for my trunk, I appied a liberal amount of white lithium grease, problem solved.

the mechanic i use mentioned that t-bar squeak to me yesterday as i was telling him about my suspension rebuild hits and misses. he did state the it only does it while driving, getting in and out, while slowing down or speeding up. other than that its not a bother.....

i mentioned mine doing it would not kill me especially if my girl is riding along. now thats a sqeak that kills me....
