What size steering wheel is good for the track?
I wa thinking of getting a new one, just not sure what size works with my 89 911 (it has a "Personel" now)

I don't know if it's good for the track but it looks good in the car for sure plus it's very comfortable: 350mm.

The 930S replica is a nice street/track wheel. It's smaller than the stock wheel, but still civilized looking.

I had a 930S wheel in my track car and switched to a Personal Fittipaldi wheel, which is larger than the 930S wheel. The lack of power steering in my '83 makes the 930S wheel too small for tight corners on the track. As the wheel gets smaller you lose mechanical leverage and steering effort increases - not good for tight hairpins. I also like the fact that the Fitti wheel is thinner than the 930S, which caused my hands to cramp a bit on long sessions.
I am much happier with the Fitti wheel. I made the swap after a friend, a former racer (i.e. LeMans, Daytona, Sebring vetran), told me thats what they used in their race cars. Of course steering wheels is a very personal choice and your mileage will vary.
