OK, ya can't make all the people happy all the time, but let me try.

Early contingent meets @ Gelsons 7am
2nd joins @ Neptune's Net ~ 8am
3rd joins @ Tommys' ~ 9am for breakfast, then runs the route backwards

PS. I'd rather take Mulholland all the way to the beach, but this is shown with Decker (more technical). Go either way.

PPS. Print the 'effin map!

I'm not familiar with the roads except Mulholland (a little), so I am for trying a new route. Probably best to have someone familiar lead the way.

OK with me, but don't just edit the map, update the ETA's, directions and mileages too.

howard - i don't have that slick software that you do. that's just a paint shop pro edit. i'm just a hack. :)

Calvin and I are in for 7am at Gelson's.

Howard you are the annointed Map King, do you mind making a revised (final edition) map for all of us to download? If not, I'll just print the early edition one and follow the rest of the cattle. lol

Just go ahead and print the original map and directions. Lots of options, so pick the one you want. Probably too many cars to keep in one gaggle anyway, so just make if to Neptune's and Tommy's at the approximate times.

Yup, blew $15 on Microsoft Streets and Trips. This is the first time I tried it, and it's pretty cool.

The Gelsons' in Calabasas? What is the address? Thanks

If you click on Howard's effin' map, the address is there. It's 22277 Mulholland Highway. You exit the 101 to Topanga south, go 1.6 miles, and then take a right on Mulholland Drive, go .4 miles, and then take a left on Mulholland Highway. The Calabasas Gelson's is up a few hundred feet, and on the right.

OK, I read the thread, and can't figure anything out. Is anything set?

Howard pretty much summed it up:

There are a few intermediate meeting points if you don't want to get up early. Download the effin map. :)

1] The run is on for this Sunday
2] There are various meeting times/places to accomodate most
3] If you download the map and directions, you will be up to date
4] If you can't figure this out, you can't come
5] I will be there with extra maps for those that fit into category 4
6] Since I don't have a real Porsche, you can recognize me by looking for one of the cars shown below

I have to work all weekend but would be up for a quick drive if my sleep pattern and car are cooperative. I haven't started up my 914 in about 2 months... :(

Chris, you gotta make it out, just so I can see your car in person. that thing looks sooo nice!!!!!! Stretch the 914's legs out, it'll thank you for it.

So, I'm not the only one.......:( I was begining to feel like I didn't deserve to own a 911. I do get out in the Boxster once in a while. Maybe when the weather cools down a bit and I get the suspension done, I can make it.

Max, thanks for the great picture of Moby Dick. Did you get to the Rock Store today? Jay Leno pulls in with his SLR McLaren. Jumps out, walks up to Moby and says, 'Cool!' Made my day.

Actually, I have a more active social life sitting there for a few hours snapping pictures on the weekend than i do back in the city the rest of the week :p

I just noticed the steering wheel on the Purest Form sticker on the 74 Carrera. That must be close to when that wheel was introduced.
Cool decal :) I like that wheel too and have left it on my SC.

The Mulholland run was a blast, although, we kind of lost some drivers a few times. In the end, most of the crowd made it to Super Tommy's. We even picked up a few people at the end who slept in this morning. Here are a few pictures.
