Hey, I dont krap my pants! I just leave little brown stains.
Thanks for the use of the lift and tools Mike (and the help!). It made it alot easier. The suspension on Stay Puff hasnt been touched in 33 years! Needless to say some things took a little persuasion. Thanks to Mike and his vast inventory of tools we were able to find just the right hammers and pipes to do the job right.
Next weekend the rear. Then CB and alignment and we will be ready for WS!

Great stuff, Dan and Mike. Where are the 15 x 7's? Can't be far away. You will have them on for the alignment, right? You're ahead of me now. Way ahead. I'm remodeling too. Damn houses get in the way of real progress

You guys and your lifts....................

You gotta get down and dirty, upside down in filth on your back on the garage floor for it to be considered a success!

It'll feel like a totally different car when you're done. Very rewarding.

Dont make me fly out there!!!

Milt, Dont know if the 7's will be ready. May stash them away until the P fund builds back up and mount them next year. I dont think things will change in the alignment & CB going from the deep 6's to the 7.

Kevin, we got plenty dirty. Its not fun unless your playing in the mud.

Jim, You found my logo!

BRJ - OTR is a go. Hope you can make it.

Ingo, where ever you are we missed ya!

better get a fresh propane bottle for next weekend and the rear spring plate bushing... i got the rear bushings burning like a marsh mellow then used a sharp carpenter chisel, about 1' wide and cut along the torsion bar tube and pried the melting rubber away. it was much easier to do with the rubber soft from the heat. then a small grinder with a wire brush disk cleaned them right up.

get mine back from alignment and cb this afternoon. today is dragging by, time has come to a stand still.....

I used an air chisel on spring plate bushings, and they came off like butter.
