CIS fuel line sources??LEN MIA?

I’ve had a failure of my hard line cracked just past the crimped fitting at the front near the fuel pump. After reviewing the forum all advice said to use Len, called his shop they said he retired, tried a old email no luck.
Anyone have a source. Had to cut polymiad line and just barely got a heated section of 3/8” ID over hard line to make it home from firehouse, non fuel injection SAE 30RZ.
Not the recommend solution I know but what was available at ACE.

Guess I’m in for the fun and exciting task of replacing tunnel lines��.

Interesting my 74 has the poly lines and the pump is at the front.

Is there a more permanent temporary fitting that can be used on the short ploy line that I have left.

Use fuel injection rated fuel hoses and Oetiker type clamps. Make sure the rubber hoses are rated for FI application not just fuel hose application. Plus they are easy to fabricate compared to the polyamide plastic tubes.

I have a '78 SC with the OEM plastic fuel lines. I have an opportunity to purchase a complete CIS system with the metal lines for a very reasonable price. I see that Paul Mason and Len Cummings both offer fuel line replacement systems. And Tony suggests that replacing the fuel lines can be done by fabrication.

Can anyone comment on which of the options available is a) safest and b) easiest?

I am also going to face this issue when I restore my '73.5 CIS T.

I can advise you to go with the all metal lines on your motor. Not that the Polyamide lines are not good, as they are practically bulletproof.

But the steel lines are bulletproof, so buy them if you can.

I am happy to help with chassis lines that are Polyamide. Far easier to install than any other option, and they will last the lifetime of the vehicle.
