Childs Play!
Just finished the first of many many projects for the 77 Targa. The simplist yet more important is the airbox valve. Check out the drilling pic - truely childs play! My 5 year really did drill and install it! I mixed the epoxy - you can only trust a 5 year old so far.

The kid's obviously a genius.
He's just trying to get on your good side. Wait until he asks you if he can drive it (about 11 years).

The kid is definitely on the right track. Drilling holes in dad's Porsche, with his own Harley parked safely out of the way. I have a 13 year old that is a very accomplished Harley mechanic, and is now learning to be a Porsche mechanic. Keeps 'em in the garage and away from the video games.

I take him out a few times a week - he loves it cuz he sits in the front with the top off - always asks the same question, "Dad, is this the fastest car in Texas?" I always reply with a downshift and a rubber burn! He always laughs and says "I think it is!". "Not yet son, but someday..."

You're in Texas and you haven't upgraded the 5 blade fan to a 11 blade fan yet?

even when it gets to be 100, my temp never gets above 95C. And thats after scooting around town and highway for 45min to an hour. I think it is becuase it is a ROW and thermal reactors wern't installed so she runs a bit cooler than the US versions. Just a guess. Still, I will upgrade to the 11 blade - that is the next project along with an oil cooler upgrade and countless other things I keep finding as a look through 101 by W. Dempsey. I am starting to think that herr Dempsey got an advanced degree in strategic marketing as well as mechanical engineering. He has me convinced that his books are gospel and Pelican Parts is my church. Those brass rats - got love'm!
