SC oxygen sensor wire question

I am trying to get my car ready for a emissions test

I have a 83SC with this issue:

The plug for my 02 sensor broke off, what I have left is a single green wire (coaxial) type.

The 02 sensor on the car has a single black wire, so I don't understand where the single black wire plugs into?

Does the single green coaxial wire have a positive side as well as a negative ?

I am lost on this one!

Thanks in advance.
George

I'm no expert, but I don't think single wire O2 sensors get power.

They will read voltage (0-1 volt) when heated. The higher the reading, the richer the mixture.

Here is the wire, with the coaxial pulled back.
