DIY CIS Tester
Here is a pic of a CIS tester that I rigged up using some surplus fittings, a valve, and a gage. I used an old line and fittings that go from the fuel distributor to the warm-up regulator off an old CIS system that the local shop had sitting in a corner. I just thought I would post the picture in case any one else cares to make one of these up for themselves.

That's Great Tim! What did it cost you, $5-10 bucks tops?

Cost was $0.00 + 10 minutes to scrounge parts + 10 minutes to alter a fitting in the lathe + 10 minutes to assemble + 20 minutes of good BS time at the local P car shop.
I am a mechanical engineer at a special machine building company by day which means I have a full machine shop available to me. I enjoy the challenge of making my own special tools (engine yoke, exhaust manifold bolt drill jig, valve adjustment feeler gage, cam nut tool, brake pressure bleeder, cam timing dial indicator mount, spanner wrenches for 944 belt jobs, various violin making tools (oops off topic). Plus I am a cheap SOB!
