I can't express how much I appreciate that. I just broke "something" in my pass side front and I know absoloutely nada about 930 suspension(the wheel has about 5 degrees too much neg camber now and makes a serious "click" if I jerk the wheel hard left).

I'll read it right after my friday night beer binge! Once again, thank-you thank-you thank-you.

"Elephant Racing, Front PolyBronze Suspension Bushings (set of 4), 912/911 (1968-73) $237.50"

Shouldn't that read (1968-89)? What do I fit to my '76 and '83??

I'm going to be rebuilding my suspension pretty quickly and when I went through the wizard I nearly put 2 sets of bushings in the basket (both on step 7 and 11.

I have a '77 911 with OE Koni's. When looking for Koni front struts, I don't see an option for my car in either the std or sport version, only for cars w/Boge. Should the description for the line item for cars equipped w/factory Koni's read (1974-1977) instead of (1974) since Koni's where offered up to '77, I believe?

Also, is there an externally adjustable Koni front strut available for my (Koni) strut housing?

thanks,
Frank

I hope you're not still driving it! Which wheel are you talking about?

The Koni 'Special' insert for your car was accidentally omitted, but unfortunately, they do not make an adjustable Sport insert to fit Koni struts (or at least they don't anymore).

Do you think the Bushing page (Step 11) is a little too redundant? If it makes the wizard that much more confusing, then perhaps we'll nix it.

Eugene, are those spring plate bushings really polycarbonate, and not polyurethane? We discussed this in a thread a little while ago, and the consensus was that polycarbonate would be a poor material for bushings, and that it was probably an error on the site. I could be wrong, just wanted to bring this to your attention, here's the thread

Thanks Andy. You (and Chuck) are correct. The bushings we sell are Weltmeister Poly-Graphite. I'm not sure why they were labeled otherwise.

Eugene,
The double listing of the bushings is a little confusing. My sugestion would be nix one or the other. At first look I would say nix the bushings section and put the monoballs in step 7 and/or the shock section.

Eugene,
Thanks for adding the Koni entries for 75-89 models. This is a very nice tool you put together.

I do have one more comment/question regarding the lack of an externally adjustable Koni insert for my Koni struts. I was looking at the Koni website yesterday and saw this for 75-89 911's:

"Sport front can be used with OE Koni struts if gland nut 73.25.01.011.1 is ordered as well."

Has anyone tried this setup? Is this the part that you mention is NLA?

thanks again,
Frank

Interesting... I was not aware of that note until you pointed it out. I was referencing www.koni.com, while I just realized you found that off of www.koni-na.com - slightly more detailed. Still, I unfortunately do not know what a 73.25.01.011.1 is, but will attempt to investigate it further. Thanks for the info; I hope someone else can contribute.
