Anyone have a photo of a 74-89 silver 911 with a ducktail?
I just got back from a track weekend and the rubber from my 76 turbo tail just let go of the fiberglass wing. As such, I am now in the market for a new tail.
Does anyone have a photo of a Silver 74-89 accordian bumpered 911 with a duck tail. I would like to see what it looks like prior to puchase. BTW, I was unable to find any photos of a silver car using the search function. Thanks, Noel

For some reason 6 & 7 Fuchs combined with the monster bumper pads make the top two pictures of a silver coupe look not-quite-right.
Just my opinion.

Kevin, that's part of why it now has 7/8s. And no tail and factory front spoiler.

Bottom picture certainly looks best Todd. The flare guards look good on silver cars as well.
The right wheels make all the difference on a car. The difference between 6/7 vs. 7/8 is very significant IMO. 6/7 looks like poo. I'm tired of my own car looking like poo...............

I have the 7/8 for track, 'cause I need them for 225/245. I like to run 205/225 on the street, so I don't need another set of 7/8 for street, but I agree it looks like poo. Just can't justify the cost of two sets of 7/8 right now.
Maybe I'll get a set of custom 17" fuchs for the track and retire the 7/8s to the street. Not that that would help my cost justification problem...

Thanks guys. I do have 7s and 8s on my car with magnetic stone guards so I think it will look most like the bottom photo. I'm leaning toward a duck now instead of a Carrera Tail.
Thanks again.
