Sounds great! I want to hear it pulling through some gear changes though. Can you arrange that?

I think that is the best sound format - but on the dyno we just did 4th gear runs. Maybe I'll take the video camera in the car and record 1st through 4th - all at full throttle!

On a dyno you run it up in 4th gear and let the clutch in at redline - and let the wheels freewheel --- this is the sound you heard - the TIRES (A032Rs) making their whining noise ;-)

Hear the rev limiter kick in at the end - at 6,750?

Sounds exactly like my magnaflow except mine gets a noticable sound increase at 3k that judging from the video, is even louder than your exhaust. But, unfortunately, i'm missing about 130hp so no bad talk coming from me

Funny you metion Magnaflow - I was inches from getting one.
A guy who takes his car to the shop that does my heavy duty p-car work has one that he took off his C2. Wanted to sell it because he "didn't like the sound and wanted a Flowmaster because of the sound" (?)

He wanted almost $400 for a system that wouldn't fit my car. I'd end up with only a muffler and no usable pipe (& it was ALL stainless, beautiful). Was a golden/silvery color from the heat, very very nice looking.

So I had a Flowmaster made. It is extraordinarily loud - guess the digital camera's hi-fi sound didn't capture the beast in action Its all steel, not so good but the sound is wOw -

I was just pulling your leg a little, it sounds fantastic. Not to mention you have the grunt of a motor i wish i had in the sc. I'm surprised he got rid of it, they sound almost identical, just the flowmaster usually is slightly deeper and depending on the series (delta) quieter too.

....& from what I understand the Magnaflow has NO baffles - it is straight through with lots of sound packing.

This appealed to me - makes sense that it in theory should be even better than the Flowmaster -

not to steal Craig's thunder, but here's mine (dual in dual out Flowmaster) with a 3.0 SC motor and heat exchangers going through some gears.

Guys that were on Monster Run II know how loud it is

(CROSS POSTED)

The freeway signs are added, & the speedo does not really register 100 mph. Flowmaster is mighty loud

Notice the intake sound change at 5,200 rpm (hard to see). Current tach redline is marked at 6,300.

Actual redline is now 6,750. Back off a gauge hash mark from the redline to view the 5 & 6k marks.

Digital camera quality, sorry
