A widebody Cab was the only Porsche I ever wanted and I have loved this car over the past 4 years. Learning about Pcars, much of this through this board, I set my self a new goal and today I purchased a 993 TT.
![]() I pick it up in a couple of weeks. It's a 97 with 21,000 KM, navy blue in near perfect condition. I can't wait to get it home and play. But the best news is that I convinced the wife so I could keep the Cab ![]()

Yes Adam your right PC in Melb, I have been looking all over Aus and this is the best one in the country at the moment IMHO. I have been looking for a while and driven most of the 7 cars currently available that I know about.
Compare that to the US where I count 27 993TT available. Including 2 "S". Yes the two weeks will be a long long long 2 weeks. The hold up is actually getting down to Melbourne. Work is crazy so I cant get down for a couple of weeks - DAMN. Lots of photos to follow. Upgrade #1 - wheels. - I hate the twist wheels. Then I am I think and ECU, Oil cooler and an new intercooller. I will aim for about 500 HP, that should shread some tyres. ![]()

Thanks Guys,
Now Merv, about that race - how is the new turbo conversion coming - did you decide to go TT?

David, beautiful car!
On the order of mods, here is a recommendation. Suspension first. If you have the original, it is shot. PSS9's are nice. Wheels are always nice. 500 HP is easily attainable. You will first need the additional oil cooler and the Cargraphics is the best. Next, you will probably want to upgrade the turbos and then remap the ECU. If you do the ECU only, the k16's will run out of steam. "While you are at it", might as well go with the LWF and the GT2 clutch to handle all the additional HP and torque. I would keep the OEM intercooler as it is a very well made unit capable of handling 500+ HP. Having fun yet? After this transformation, I'm sure you can take that 930 in the straights and the twisties! |

Mate, I owe you an apology. I was dribbling on that car about a 10 days ago at PCM while waiting for the service dept to break something else on my 964. If the paint is marked on the right hand fender, I will make good, I promise.
That is a fockin hella georgous car, glad an enthusiast has bought it. Fancy it turning here on PP. Nice one stuart 86 carrera (free to good home) 964 C4
