The Ferrari 308 has a stable-mate! Early 911 RS-Look. Here's the deal:
- 1972 911E chassis - black - 1982 911SC block, JE pistons, solex cams, webers, AL clutch, RS distributor, powder-coated engine tin, machine work by Ollies, sport muffler, est 250 HP or so - 1973 911S tranny - Front-mounted cooler - RS LT look (fenders, bumpers, duck tail, graphics, 7x15s and 8x15s - New paint There are a few small issues with the car that need some attention: - Brake bleed and/or MC replace - Fix sunroof - Steering wheel and dash / gauges need work (basically everything between the steering wheel and the windshield needs some attention - Shift bushings desperately needed - Sway bar bushings All minor stuff. Here's a pic: ![]() -Wayne

Wayne Congratulations!!! I love that car, I must have gone back and forth to look at that car 10 times today. I was the guy next to you on the freeway in the '72 Black RS look Targa with Red Carrera Striping (basically just like yours in targa form). Enjoy!!!

Nice Wayne, how about some pics of the engine compartment. I'm thinking of powder coating my engine tin as well.

I'm not surprised. It's a quick as the F-Car, but you can take your whole family with you! But then that's what the good Doctor planned -- isn't it?

Great! Sounds like you only need to do about 6 projects, not 101.

I sincerely hope I am not being rude, what was the asking price? If you are willing to share the sale price, that would be great, too.
Looks like I missed an outstanding show. Congrats on the beautiful car! Doug |

Is this a once a year event ? Are there any other events like this that might be coming up in Cali again ? I drove 4 hours, from Vegas, stayed at the show for 2 hours, just to get back on the highway to drive back to Vegas on Sunday . I must say, it was really a moving experiance.Porsche, after Porsche, after Porsche. It was a great day, compiled with it being a sad day, wishing my father was still alive, so that we could have attended the event together. BUT, because of my loss, it enabled me to be a P car owner at a younger age then I expected. It was great walking up and down the rows of all the early cars, wishing my state carried the smog laws you guys do. Ours is 67 and earlier, yours is 74 or something.
I must say thank you to all of you Pcar owners, who keep these older cars on the road, and keep the history alive, so there are shows like this. This was one of the best events that I have been to in my life. Sorry to hijack your thread like that Wayne.
