The NER region is hosting their annual Porschefest tommorrow at the Museum of Transportation in Brooklilne MA. Please join us! Its always a great lawn event. Kid and spouse friendly - its a very social event with impromtu picnic eating and awards too. For any early birds - I am hosting a car detailing jam session at my house from 6 AM to 8 AM prior to the event and then caravaning over as a group.

This is a great gathering. I was there last year, parked next to you and all I did was gawk and take pics of your car LOL. Unfortunately I'm out of town but hopefully others will take some pics. I think I remember Janus saying he'll be there.

I am going to try and make it as well. Probably won't take the car though as we'll end up in the city afterwards.

Here are some pics from the PCA Concours D'Elegance at the Museum Of Transportation on Saturday (taken with a disposable camera so please excuse the lack of clarity).

Porsche's new 997 made an appearance. And if you look closely, you can see DeanP reflected in the driver side window.

Look's like a 911 to me!!

It is a replica but still looks damned cool.

Oh yeah, you can tell this is a Concours D'Elegance and not just a regular car show. This interior is unbelievable.

Hey Janus,

Good pics. It was good to see you there. How long did you end up staying? With that reflection in the driver's side window of the 997 I can almost visualize being in the driver's seat.

I still have to download my pics from the digital camera and post them. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.

. Don't forget we (yes, we) have AutoX this weekend!! As for staying late, I shot the spyder and payed my fee and then saw that you had left. So I popped into the lecture briefly. But they were talking about the proper techniques for removing dime sized blemishes and my car is long past that stage. So I ducked out. I then made a quick stop back on the lawn because the guy with the 500hp 928 showed up (I forgot his name). So I ogled his motor a bit and then had to leave to pick up my monitor. I think I stayed less than half an hour after you left. I really had to run to get back in time but I got it! Once the virtual driving setup is done, I'll send you a pic so you can laugh heartily at my madness.

Ferrariguyma, I tried and failed again to get a good photo of your car. The thing is just too damned shiny for the photographic skills of mere mortals (wielding disposable camers) to capture !!

You mean you got good tips on superchargers from the guy with the 928???? Was it the one we saw in Scituate?

We got home and Mel promptly asked if I was going to call about that 914 for her. I asked if she was crazy... we already have four vehicles between us, no garage and she want another. I would be too busy with year round maintenance!
