82 sc headlight washers
while replacing my headlight jets i found that the plastic bosch elbows that connects the washer jets to the supply lines plugged or frozen closed. i was able to remove them and found that if i pushed a scribe into the elbow i could get the the valve inside to open, but it took a fairly strong push to make this happen.
do i need these elbows, (one way valves)? do they need to be replaced and if so where do you find them other then the dealer? i dont need them i just want everything to work.

I think you can still get them at the dealer. When I needed the T connectors for the windshield washers that's where I got them. I think they are overpriced though. If not, try a VW shop.
