wax off...wax on.....young grasshopper.....

was working in the garage last night then noticed how "dirty" my 911 really was, the gp white just didn't have that super bright look to it anymore.

i felt like mr myagi was training me........
it started out with me working on one spot where there was dirt under the wax and i used a solvelt to remove the wax.......it worked so well i HAD to do the whole car.........then the wheels, can't forget about the wheels, and all the rubber......
did this last night until about 3am........got up this morning (blowing off a round of golf) and finished it up with 2 coats of trusty ol turtle wax.

this is what i was dealing with.....those dark verticle dirty lines........been pretty busy lately so she's been "neglected" a little

i'll have better pics tomorrow.....but look at that passenger side reflection (not the crap IN the reflection though)

I use the spray tire cleaner, generally Turtle Wax, to spray the wheel wells. The dirt just disappears and it looks clean as a whistle. I have used all kinds of the tire cleaners and all seem to work well.

my wheelwells are painted black....that's not dirt on the white (although they still need attention)
they're going to stay black but will be completely refinished when i go through the suspension this winter.

Only on the interior of the wheel wells. I use Zymol on the paint. Big difference!

Looks great! I envy you, man. 11 hours of disposable time, a round of golf teed up, and a porsche. Well we have one thing in common...

Well I saw the Bell ride in person and it was impressive. It had a beautiful shine, especially the wheels. Sorry to see another P-mobile heaidng south though.
