Question 83sc interior color code help needed...

Hi,
I am trying to figure out what my exact interior color is for my 1983 911sc, it states "TB" in my original warranty and maintenance book. Also if anyone knows what these following option codes mean, I would be interested in finding what options were added in the original purchase, if they mean anything at all

C03R64197409567

and

650900

Thanks for the help,
flagstaff_911sc

"TB" is a mystery because the interior fabric and color codes from 1983 had three digits. For example, Leatherette was BSP and TPB was for checkerboard velour. What interior fabric/color combo does your car have presently?

It looks like you've got standard grey leather but I'm no expert.

Another way to get more info on your car's options would be to purchase a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche which should list every option your came left the factory floor with.

Flagstaff--
You can call Porsche North America customer service and give them the VIN. They'll then read to you the options that were on the car as it left the factory. Its free, whereas the certificate of authenticity is a for fee service.

I can't decipher the option codes in your post - the ones I'm familiar with are a letter and 3 numbers together - usually found on a stick on the underside of the front hood.

Thanks audi2.7t for the code breakdown, I appreciate it. I am still not sure what the exact name is for my interior color. The picture is not showing the true color, it is a very light beige maybe linen. I need to call Porsche North America customer service and give them a try with my vin number like steve911 suggested.

thanks again for all the help from everyone

Hi Flagstaff,
The seats in my '84 look exactly like yours.... I believe the color is "grey beige".

Calling Porsche NA may or may not be helpful, but it can't hurt. The list they gave me missed most of the options on my car. Not trivial options either, like the full leather interior.

Jerry Kroeger
