Installed new tach, What? Not OE, (VDO)

Not to pick on Porsche Tachs, But this is much better.

1. No bouncing
2. Lighting is superior
3. The recall feature proves if the driver is a liar or not
4. "it looks cool"

Looks like auto meter brand...

Minkoff, does that sticker on the steering wheel say "BREATHE"? I love it!

That's a good reminder. I understand those feelings.

wiring

I am curious, did you run new wiring for the tach or use your existing wiring? Also what ignition are your using? Supposedly with an MSD box you can run the wiring from the MSD straight to the tach. I want to put one in my car, but the original wiring is fubar.

being a race car the wiring is specific to my car. I run a Crane Hi-6 Ignition and yes I do believe that the tach is easily wired to Porsche wiring
