Is this a valid paint code ? Color?

Stamped on the plate near the drivers door hing

That is a valid paint code.

However you will find that some sources are not inclusive of all of the different paints used by Porsche. Mine for instance, 6809 is Blood Orange from 1969. This seems to be extremely hard to find and seems to show up on some charts under 1970 with a 7 code.

Depending on the year of your vehicle, yours could match Bahama Yellow, given the code, but the year is needed to verify.
