2004 German AutoFest: Ventura, CA
Just got back from a nice sunny day in Ventura. Saw a number of pelicans: Jack-O, Mike Zois, Max, Dave from TRE, Hayden from Wevo, Chuck from Elephant racing... AND of course there were many beautiful cars.
The early 911 area was absolutely fantastic, by far the best collection of quality cars for 2004. Here are a few pictures I shot with my $80 digital camera...

Thanks for the photos. I realize now, that only saw about half the show yesterday. I don't know who all the nay-sayers are who said they saw it all in one day. Maybe that's just cause I'm still stary-eyed, but I never tire of soaking up the sight of a smooth, clean early 911 or 356 or 914 or....

Nice shots, Todd. You are making me miss SoCal (okay, not that much...). But I do miss being able to run up to Ventura for the day for this great event.

there was an RS clone that Wayne was hot for...black, $22K. A few other ones but I wasn't looking very hard. The one that caught my eye was a '79 SC coupe in granny apple green with black interior. 82K on the clock, rebuilt engine and tranny...very clean. No asking price posted though.
