Hi All,
Did a track day a couple of weeks ago, and now my front brakes squeal like hell!! I'm running EBC Green Stuff pads, my front wheels were covered with brake dust at the end of the day. Do you think I've cooked the pads? They still brake fine, and there's plenty of material left on the pads. BTW they were new pads with about 500 miles on before the track day. Any ideas? Cheers, Tim.

The brakes are filthy as well, clean them, streamed water, scotch brite and canned brake cleaner, in that order
pads and rotors

Certain high performance pad compounds will always be noisy on street driving. They don't perform well until they get hot. Until then they squel like crazy. The track use may well of bedded them in and removed any remnants of material that was keeping them quiet until now.
